Default Chuck Cow haters

I would like to say that I was finally able to drive the Vette today for a considerable amount
of time after the Cow booster install. I'm very pleased with the results thus far. The throttle is so much more responsive from the start and on the freeway. I have not done the AutoCal yet so after that is complete then it will really launch. I was on the fence for a while before the purchase because I would read a few bad posts about Chuck but also a lot of good posts. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but for me all is good. I agree the communication could be a little better but I also know I'm not his only customer. I wish people would not bash the man if you have not tried his tune or the Cow booster. Thanks Chuck.

Im leaning toward buying the COW ECM for my 2012 Grand Sport with new ARH 1 7/8" Headers
but 1) I want to drive the car as stock with the current VITESSE Throttle device to experience that
and 2) The Lew/Diablo ECM modification is a couple hundred dollars less..................

So I'm still undecided............................... .........

Well I had a Vitesse controller and there is no comparison between cow and Vitesse. Cow booster all the way.

To be CLEAR, I am NOT comparing the VITESSE device with the COW or DIABLO modified ECM....

I am saying that the VITESSE was in my 2012 Grand Sport when I purchased it, so I merely want
to experience my NEW ARH headers with the VITESSE dialed to ZERO , then the VITESSE cranked
up.........and ultimately have the ECM "tuned" by COW or DIABLO ?????................and REMOVE/SELL
the VITESSE !!!!!

I know you were on the fence..... And we spoke quite a few times before you ordered my system.

I spent a lot of time with you on the phone answering your questions and making sure you knew what was involved.... I do that with everyone.

I also spend quite a bit of time on the work I do for people.... This is no copy/paste like other products out there and having tried the

competitor's throttle controller, you know that the CoW BOOSTER! is way better and 1,000% safe!

Yes, some people say I come across as "too confident" when I'm selling my products.

That's ok cause I know my product is the BEST and I very much appreciate customers making threads and posts like this, even if you've

only got half of my package so far.... I want you to be THRILLED what you went with ME and confident that you made the right decision

because it's SATISFIED customers like you who report their experiences here..... That drives my sales.

I tell you my stuff is the BEST so you set your expectations high... We're raising the bar.

And when you're finished tuning your vehicle with me I, I love people telling me that I EXCEEDED their expectations.

I know people expect less than what I claim when they order from me...

And that's what makes the "CoW WOW! (or "HOLY CoW) that so many people report.

Thank you again for the great review!

Just an update. A cool but sunny day in Michigan so we take the vette out for breakfast and a ride. The car just launches off the line and the wheels will cut loose. The look on the wife's face was DAMN. Check engine light did pop up so need to see what that's about. Happy camper

It’s posts like these that make me second guess not getting the system just wish someone near me had one I could ride in and test before pulling the trigger

I can relate. It took me a long time to finally make the purchase. I was trying to see Chuck in person but that wasn't going to happen. Chuck has a lot of good reviews a few bad, and some haters. I don't have the AutoCal yet to finish the tune but all is good so far.

So do you gain any horsepower or is it just a throttle sensitive tune that makes it more responsive?

From my understanding it's the throttle response no horsepower but it does feel like more hp.

Gotcha. That’s sometimes why I think a local tuner with dyno results is a better option. But just my opinion

Not sure Bruze. I haven't had it checked out yet. I'm waiting for the AutoCal from Chuck. Had the car out over the weekend and it runs just fine. Bought an Escort ix radar detector to push the pedal a little more but really don't care for it otherwise the car is running good tires cut loose very easily with the booster.

So instead of moving your foot more you paid to make the throttle more sensitive?

Haha its funny cause I did opposite in my tune to make it less twitchy on times when I slam the gas down to reduce kr.

Enjoy your ride!

Always people who dont have the COW booster slam it.

an interesting phenomena.

those who have it love it.

fwiw many track modes of ferraris or mclarens often tighten up throttle response compared to comfort mode.

just imagine how many pay for new throttle bodies over the years...in fact if you read the c7 section today...you might find an interesting thread..

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...o-know-it.html

the cow booster resolves the issue electronically ....in the c6.

i dont know if the cow booster works in c7 s....or how it compares to this gentlemans suggestions...

the concept and need is the similiar and I thought it might lend insights

Read this thread as its even better to understand the issue of throttle mapping from a different vendor on the c7 try and resolve the issue of laggard throttle response in todays vehicles...(c7 and I know nothing of this gentlemans efforts or success)
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ome-of-us.html
interesting to read some owners of his products though with regards to resolving a similiar issue that occured on the c6 that was lacking...

remember the c6 tops out at 190 mph ...does zero to 60 mph in 4 seconds..l

what is often found lacking was throttle response...the cow booster totally fixed that issue for all cow booster owners..l
