Another one huh...lol Khole just tell the mods leave these threads open, say your piece and the let the rest of your customers that YOU built relationships with do the rest. It always works in your favor and then you don’t have the “mods shut down” **** going on. just my 2 cents.

Full disclosure I have AHP heads and have become pretty good friends with Khole, but he earned that **** 100% full stop.

I’ll just comment on what I know and my experience.

1. My AHP heads were brought directly to my engine builder where my block was being refreshed. Old school guy with a hell of a reputation in southern Louisiana for doing excellent work for 40 years. Dude had never heard of Khole or AHP, he does zero advertising or social media and works for cash only(kinda crazy in 2020) anyway first thing he said was I don’t give a **** who did these heads or how many they do a year or what kinda “following” they have. These heads will pass my full inspection twice before they go into an engine I’m building with my name on it.(I liked that ****) needless to say after his due diligence they passed with flying colors. To the point where he called another customer in who had some heads shipped in from another shop to compare the work on both sets of heads and told that customer send your **** back if you can. So having one professional engine builder inspect and QA AHP’s work and seeing how he reacted was very reassuring in my opinion, I know it’s just one guys opinion but it’s another legit professional and that matters.

2. I don’t daily my C6z, but when I do drive it it gets a serious workout, 7k+ runs on an engine making just south of 4 digits rwhp. It also makes stupid power on a small *** blower to the point it pisses people off. That ain’t happening with Bush league heads.

3. Just to prove to myself and my local shop/tuner that we built a legit 900+whp true street car I drove it from southern Mississippi to Atlanta and back last year with zero issues.

4. There are a few other gems to this forum that have dedicated road race C6z’s with AHP’s work who absolutely drive their cars to the max on the track weekly, with all sorts of real data on AHP heads, guides, valve work you name they have the intel on how the parts AHP touched preform and you won’t find better test subjects. So just look at what guys like Mordeth(Anthony) have to say and hold that opinion highly because it damn sure matters.

I get zero for taking the time to make a post, **** I paid them a good $5k for heads and a lot of these other guys did too. People don’t take time to speak about experience or provide feedback and data unless it’s earned and I can only speak for my personal experience Khole earned every bit of this post from me and will continue to get my business as long as I’m in the vette game and he continues to do business the way he does. 🇺🇸

I have got a set of heads shipped across the pond from Kohle almost one year ago, with the upgraded MS90 guides and PSI springs. All I can say is that I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The AHP heads have about 25 hours of hard track driving without any issues, and will continue to do more track days without the fear of dropping a valve.

I have had AHP pkg4 heads and stage 2 cam for a few thousand miles now. No issues or complaints here at all and she has definitely seen some hard driving 😂

AHP pkg 4 heads done a year ago. My contact with AHP and Kohle was always professional and first class; Kohle spent a lot of time patiently answering my many questions. Engine has run perfectly so far (significantly quieter valvetrain) and I would also recommend AHP to anyone.

Love the front page of the forum!!!! Hahahaha

I bought a Z06 that had the stage 4 heads done and the 116 cam from the previous owner. He drove the car from AZ to CA to get it done at AHP's shop. If people are willing to drive to another state for AHP to get their heads addressed they must be pretty good.

6000 miles on the new package and 1000 since I've had possession. Car feels very strong and pulls like a freight train.

I've had emails with Kohle and he was very helpful.

Kohle and Jake are hands down the most talented, committed and trustworthy people I have worked with in the automotive industry over the last 20 years between NY and CA.
I just had an Archangel 434 stuffed in my FRC and what they did to my car was nothing short of magic
Trouble free, maintenance free 700HP on tap.......runs like a top and spins to 7,200 without breaking a sweat.
I shipped my car across the country, handed them the keys, they built the engine, the drivetrain and then proceeded to assemble a trouble-free, complete hell-beast around that 434 and gave me a break on the price to boot. Give me a break man...
Who even does that kind of thing anymore ?

Just my .02, but we've likely installed more sets of AHP heads than anybody outside of AHP. We also install a lot of Katech heads, some WCCH heads and others as well. It's all about offering customers what they want at a competitive price. AHP takes care of that exact request for 95% of the people looking to get their heads done. The other 5% that want exotic materials or a certain name stamped on the side of their head have the other options to fulfill their desires.

With that being said, after hundreds of sets of AHP installed here, we've literally had one single issue over the multiple years. It was on a car that Kohle knew was tracked and the heads had some excessive guide wear. Kohle offered to stand by their work and repair the (nearly 2 year old) set of heads at his expense. The customer paid the labor and everyone was happy. You will find good and bad for every vendor, especially on Facebook and automotive forums, but what I've found is that the people screaming the loudest about specific issues rarely ever have any personal experience with the company they're complaining about. Bad news or more specifically, people bitching about something, tends to travel like wildfire with very little (or any) firsthand knowledge of anything they're talking about.

Same experience here. I bought my z from a buddy of mine that had the heads addressed at 12k miles on the clock. Now its in my hands with 2 different cam changes, valve seal issues that could have screwed the heads up, and 37k on the clock. Still running like a champ. Aside from a very slight "within spec" wiggles she has had zero issues from the heads themselves. Just wish he would have had them shave these babies while out there lol.

I did the exchange program for my LS7 heads.
I had numerous questions before I committed, which Kohle answered at considerable length and detail which really impressed me at the time.
The whole transaction was seamless and I expect the product to perform and last as expected.

Kohle helped several of us out even when weren't using AHP.... not very many people will help you out when you're not even using their own product.

Seriously Kohle is a stand up guy with a reputation that is incredible here... any negative posts about the guy that exist, I will bet my z06 that they are hiding something or lying.

Thank you sir! We really liked the way that article turned out.
The CF editor/writer is going to do another article on us here in the next few months, this time documenting one of our fully forged LS7 builds along with a supercharger install we are going to be doing on a customers C6z06. The really cool part is this customer lives in the Philippines and will be shipping his car to us all the way his second address in New York! Should be an awesome write up so look for that in the coming months here on the forum.

To everyone else in this thread thank you very much for your kind and honest words above!
Its nice to know that as long as you put out an exceptional quality product and back it with the best customer service in the industry your customers will step up and let others know their honest experience and feedback like what we have seen here above!
Thanks again guys! The CF Rocks!!!

I just recently bought my Z06 (Oct 2019) and bought it with an aftermarket warranty from the dealership I bought the car from. After owning the car, finding out about the LS7 head issue, and hearing what I thought was a drastic change in the valvetrain noise, I took the car to Abel Chevrolet.

Needless to say the warranty company didn't cover the recommended repair and wanted to take short cuts, so I paid out of pocket to have AHP heads put on my car. I will admit originally I wanted something else, but I am happy with the end result, and the great service I got from the dealership themselves.

I do daily drive my car, 156 miles daily, and I am enjoying the peace of mind of having my car fixed correctly.

AHP worked with my warranty company on my engine failure claim. I now have a fully forged LS7 and built trans.

In a few short weeks I went from I seized crankshaft and spun bearings to a 630+hp rocket that drew thumbs up from gear heads in traffic.

OK, so we've heard from the pro-AHP segment...
Who here has had less than stellar success?
Just FYI, I've used them for 2 sets of heads. Probably 10K on one set, no issues. Other set hasn't been run yet.
Customer service was great.

Thanks for posting!
Anyone else?
Dunno how many sets of heads they've shipped, but so far, their failure rate seems pretty good.
I have ~10k on mine. Who has a whole bunch of miles on theirs?
Just for reference.... my original heads had ~45K, no detectable play doing the wiggle test. Bought a set of used heads to send in for exchange, they were worn out all to hell with only 6K.

Kohle explained an employee had polished through the valve coating, so it galled. The guy wasn’t meeting quality expectations and was let go.

Bottom line is AHP totally stood behind their product. I really appreciate that and would recommend them whole heartedly.

I had same problem, different out come. Oh well, car still running. I think I fixed it.

Did it cause any damage in your engine, or was it only the intake valve that broke?

I dont have AHP stuff in my car but I have heard all good stuff about them, That being said, I dont care which shop it is at some point parts will fail sometimes its the shops fault or the person who installed the parts or just bad material that the parts are made from, **** happens. I put a set of heads on a friends car that was built by a shop everyone here has heard of and is a sponsor here, they failed at about 150 miles and junked the block and bottom end. Bad things can happen to anyone, its a sad when people cant understand bad **** can happen.
