Default Southern Car Parts problems?

I ordered a set of door panels from Southern Car parts. They sent me one panel, but not the other and nothing about being backordered. They are not returning emails or phone calls. Anyone else having problems with them? A couple more days, then I'm calling the credit card company. No way to run a business.

Follow-up: I contacted them through the forum and got a quick response. Here's hoping it gets resolved.

I got some DBA rotors from them, they ended up being backordered for quite some time. However, SCP was very good at communicating with me by email about the staus and asking if I wanted to continue to wait. In the end aftwr a 6 week wait I got my rotors and all is well. Of course I didn't want to wait but, have no ill feeling towards SCP, they offered good service and commicated with me. The only issue is I could not reach them by phone, but got very quick email replys to my queries.

They refuse to reply to anyone on the forums. In fact, while this thread was going on someone tried to point them in that direction to address the issue, and instead they decided to bump one of their "sale" threads.

I've absolutely zero experience with them, but just from that I'm not fussed. At a bare minimum their customer service skills need serious help.

I had an order that was placed just before the pandemic got into full swing and contacted the SCP Parts a few times following up before cancelling my order. My money was promptly refunded upon request with no hassles.

The communication only occurred at my prompting.

All that said, I don't really feel too critical of them other than for the sluggish communications. I think this business, like many others, is struggling to adapt to current conditions, Some are better at it than others.

I think before ordering anything from them online, I would call or email to see if what I want is actually in stock or available.

That was me. You'd think they would see the thread and make it right, but like you said they bumped their ad.
Not corvette mods bad, but I'll take my business elsewhere, not worth the aggravation
See how poor customer service affects them, maybe they'll smarten up
The wuhan flu is no excuse unless they're out of business. Phone, email, etc still work

They have since contacted me a couple times about my order and things seem to be getting resolved. Short handed apparently.

Lets add one more to the list of hard to do business with (Corvette MODS ) . I have before I learned better ordered -3-4 different parts to this day don't know what they fit not what I ordered for sure and they tried to do a bate and switch once : Well we don't have the one you ordered for $50.00 but we have another one just like it for $100.00 . and had to call them and tell them to take down the add. for the $50.00 part they did not have . Then they wanted to say the parts I had were the right parts one was a C-4 dip stick it was 2 ins. shorter that the one I had in my hand .Just saying .... I could go on ...

SCP is well known for good prices but poor customer service. if you review negative posts many of them are prior the pandemic - the new excuse for poor service

I ordered new Door panels from 'Top Flight' (Corvette America) on Black Friday at 15% off . I got one in a few days and the other a week later. They actually make them and everyone else orders from them and resells.I order all parts from them now. No COVID excuses

RPI design, Southern car parts, and PFYC (parts for your car) are all the same company(all three are forum vendors), Their customer service is appalling. I had some luck with their custom painted stuff (they are upfront that these will take a long time). I don't think that any of them actually have anything in stock. They order from other vendors (and often have your order drop shipped) after you have placed an order with them on "in stock" items. If you can figure out where they order the part you want, you're much better off ordering direct. If you are having a major issue with them (and have posted here), you can ask the MODs to reach out on your behalf. That was the only way I got a response from RPI.
