Default issues with Willcox

I try not to bash anyone, but my experiences with Willcox over the past 6-8 months have continually gone downhill.

It started with orders taking 2-3x the amount of time to receive they normally would. I try to be understanding, a lot of vendors were having issues during the pandemic. however when other large vendors are back to normal, its hard to deal with these huge delays from them. However my last 2 orders have been the worst.

1- placed an order on 2/7. after 3 weeks i had received zero updates so I call. told "it will ship today" which it does and I receive it 3 days later. it was a large order so i thought "ok maybe it took some time since there was a lot" note 2 items in this order are on backorder.
2- a week later, i place another order, this time a small order for 2 items. again 2 1/2 weeks later I have to call. because I haven't heard anything. told 'I havent got to it yet. I'll get it out today" also while on the phone i inquire about the 2 items still on backorder. I ask to cancel both and have a refund processed for the 2 items.

now here i am a week later, no credit issued for the items still on backorder so I'll have to call AGAIN. its a bit annoying to see them constantly posting their sales on the forum, yet they cant perform the basic functions of the business.

Default Same issues with Wilcox

I have similar problems at the moment except I am international customer.

ordered my parts 7 weeks ago and. Order was marked as completed and have had no communication and / or shipping information. Sent customer service multiple emails before I got a reply saying that some of my parts would be shipped the next day, I would be supplied the shipping number and they couldn’t supply some that were listed as in stock so I would get a refund. that was four weeks ago.

Since then I have emailed multiple times about the shipping number for my parts and the refund. All emails have been ignored yet I still get emails daily about their sales.

So far I am over $1000 out of pocket for the parts so I am considering legal action as this is plain theft.

Any advice offered would be greatly appreciated.

BTW: I have even attempted to call their international number and it says it has been disconnected.

Yes their email is a complete joke. I actually forgot about that! I'm in a different time zone than they are, and have tried the email multiple times if I have an issue in the evening after they are closed. never got a single reply. thats a huge pet peeve of mine. if you arent going to respond to emails ,why even list one as a form of contact?

the ONLY way I have been able to get in contact with them is to call their main number- 812-288-7103

BTW- I just called again, because like I said in the original post I never got the refund. he said he will do it today, he forgot to do it.

I believe Ernie sold the company years back, but had stayed on for a bit. now that he is gone, it seems thing are going down the toilet. I also noticed while I am still calling Illinois to talk to them, all of the packages i received have a Reading PA return address, so maybe they outsourced their warehouse duties?

I just saw this and didn't know Ernie is gone? That may explain things because he was on top of it and never seemed to let something slide. I have referred many people there assuming he was still managing things.

I know he was still there in the beginning of 2019- i had an issue with an order and talked with him directly.

But I swear there was a post announcing he left- but I did search and cant find it.

the ask willcox thread was locked, and the "willcox" user has completely stopped answering any technical questions like Ernie used to do

I could be completely wrong maybe he is still there?

BTW- i did get my refund. after having to call again yesterday.
