Default Don't use Corvette Mods

Don't post much but this is the second time I have had a bad experience with corvette mods. First time I ordered floor mats from them with the corvette symbol stitched in. After a year or so of little to light use the supposedly stitched emblem peeled off because it was more on an iron on. I discussed this with them and they wouldn't do anything. Now I have purchased a door ajar switch form them that when I closed the door after install it broke in half. This was because the self adjusting pin didn't slide in and when I took it out it was clear what had happened and the pin would not budge. Of course they won't replace this because it was installed. So I won't be using them again and I would recommend buyer be ware. I believe that this kind of info needs to be shared and I am also aware that these experiences can vary from person to person.

Thanks,

Art

Agreed. I usually don't like to drag companies but I've had nothing but issues with them. They are over priced and their products are low quality. They do not respect their customers either, they will argue with people that say bad things about their products. Spend your money somewhere else. They don't deserve it.

Sux they won't stand behind their products and do the right thing. As word gets out they will no doubt lose business.....
Thanks for the heads up.

Agreed. They are the worst. It was my fault that I received the wrong item. After I had to pay to ship it back…I had to pony up MORE money if I wanted to receive the item I wanted in the first place! Screw them. Never again.

I haven't heard anything good about them unfortunately and this just helps to solidify their reputation as a company not to do business with. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences.

Default 10% OFF? Yeah right!

I was going to order a set of seat foam. While I was on the site I get a pop-up ad for 10% off. Great right? Every time I tried to use the discount it raised the shipping $15.00. HUH? Decided I did not want to do business with a company that would resort to this type of trickery.

Do some research here and on the net, plenty of disgruntled customers, banned from advertising on most Corvette type forums, run Forest run.........

IDK what vendor to use, but Lloyds Mats are well made. I've had a pair in my summer DD for over 10 years.

OP, thanks for the report on 'Vette Mods. That helps.

i had a similar issue with a vender last year when i ordered a set of forged wheels. at first the delivery time was 6-8 weeks; i could live with that. then it went to 11-12 weeks; then i got annoyed. finally the delivery date went to 6 months; now that's total bs and they had my money so i called them and was informed that i could not cancel the order because it was a custom order. time to call paypal, sent them all the e-mails that were sent/received and within a week i had my money back in my account.
the key here is to keep on top of things and do not let these venders try to bully you. if you do not get any resolution with the vender then contact whomever you used to pay, credit card/paypal/etc. they will go to bat for you.

I've had a pair in the Vette for over 20 years. Good fit & high quality.
And they're U.S. made...

Corvette Mods and Modern Gen - same companies - poor customer service, deceitful practices and outright cheating customers has been abundantly posted here on the transactions forum.
(see post # 14) Scores of posts from unhappy forum members. First order shame on them - second order shame on you... Always check a vendor here BEFORE sending your money. Don't get screwed!!

Emailed multiple times to the company about a order for high wing for C8 Corvette order is not showing up under my login nor are the points for the gift card that was earned for spending over $500.

I have called multiple times and you can't get through to customer service I've emailed multiple times to try to get them to fix my account where the order would show up as well as the points for the gift card. The only reply that they've ever really given was that the order was in processing they will not tell me how I can view the order they will not help with trying to get the order under my login though.

I've asked them multiple times and I've asked them to cancel the order. However they want to charge me a 25% cancellation fee and a 5% credit card charge for them not fixing the issue. I emailed them this morning with screenshots showing that the order was not showing up on my account there only reply was if you want to cancel to view terms and agreement for canceling.

I asked him to fix it or cancel my order at no cost to me because they're not fixing the problem. Make sure you look at the Better Business Bureau rating on this business. It is listed as an F rating. Corvette mods used to be a great company however if you look over the reviews the past few years it has gotten really bad. You may want to look and find another Corvette parts supplier.

They are unethical and there is an incentive for them not doing anything to force you to cancel and theyll get 30% for doing nothing.

Horrible, unethical company
