Buyer beware - Will make this as short as possible.
Steve posted a set of C7 comp seats for sale/for trade. I am in Canada and he is about 9 hrs from me. We discussed a trade plus cash on my end.
I had asked if he was willing to meet halfway and he said he had been burned before, so he would deduct $150 for me to get a hotel which was a nice gesture.
Planned out a date, spoke on the phone several times, I had the road trip planned and was going to pick up other parts at the same time.
A couple days before, I tried to contact him to confirm we are good to go as I have a business, wife, kids etc and needed to be 100% sure this was happening.
COMPLETELY GHOSTED. I tried calling, texting. Phone appeared to be off for days on end. After about a week I gave up and was hoping Steve was ok as this was super strange since he has some history on the forums.
A couple weeks go by, Steve PMs me 3 words... "car is sold". So turned out I guess he is ok, but didn't have the ***** to call or text, just sends a PM after completely disappearing.
