Anyone else experiencing slow shipping from Corvette Central? Ordered a in stock part and after three work days (4 total) still no shipping or contact. I was not given options for shipping cost so USPS is what was given.
Not what I have come to expect.

I'm not having problems. I ordered a part Monday last week and received it yesterday in Canada. I don't know about USPS. They usually ship UPS. Give them a call. They're super cooperative.
Yes, sadly I used to try to order from ZIP because they would ship the same day where it took CC at least two and sometimes three days to process the order. But, I order from Zip two weeks ago (now owned by CC holding company) and even though each online part says "same day shipping if order by 3:00PM", my part wasn't shipped for two days. Once again, consolidation ruins a good company's history.

I do not like how shipping is charged, I have purchased a decal from them ($15.00) and was charged $9.00 shipping, it arrived in an envelope with a first class stamp

same here. had a 50$ coupon, ordered Corvette fender covers
shipping was 40$ and 2 weeks to get.. 1st and last time for me..
I ran into the same thing a few years ago. Big buck shipping cost for a small sized item. I called them on it, and they said it's the way their computer system calculates shipping. She reduced the shipping to a reasonable amount. A lot of companies now have flat shipping rates no matter the size or weight so you at least always know what it will be before checkout.
Every order I have ever placed with CC has been slow to ship….coupled with slow response time on every transaction has made me avoid them.
Same here ! Also placed an order online and that took longer !?! All for in stock parts; now I use Zip mostly and they are quick to ship, usually same day if
ordered in the morning.
Just a follow up regarding Shipping into Canada through UPS. On November 5th, I ordered/paid for a Corvette Central order of which all items were in stock and was to ship out with a day or two as usual. When no shipping or tracking info was sent to me, I called C.C. 2 weeks ago and was told there was a problem with "Shipping UPS into Canada" and it was a IT issue that they were dealing with, and should be resolved by end of week. I just called again now (Nov 24), and was told it was not a IT issue but rather some type of change within "UPS Customs Broker Procedures" and currently remains unsolved, with no idea if and when it will be rectified. Does anyone else know if this is a stand alone Corvette Central problem into Canada or if other vendors are having similar issues? Are we to be cancelling orders and going elsewhere?
Thanks,
AC
this is a tariff topic
goes with shipments both ways
any other supplier is going to have the same problem
if they tell you, they aren’t well let me just tell you there’s stuff sitting in Canada that 2 to 3 weeks ago should’ve been making that 20 mile drive across the river and to its destination and it’s still stuck on the Canadian side
The solution might be is that you ship it to a local post office box a friends place on this side, come and get it
if you’re in Windsor that’s easy Toronto, It’s only a 3 to 4 Hour Drive
You’ll need a receipt going back
and probably pay a fee
Quick Update: I just called Corvette Central now (Friday pm) and was happily advised that regular shipments into Canada has resumed as of today. My particular order had shipped from the C.C. warehouse and will be accepted by UPS and out Monday. I was calling them to cancel my order but pretty happy that no need to do so. Hopefully you won't hear from me again on this. (Funny how little it matters....right up until.....YOU need the parts!
Thanks,
AC
