What was supposed to be a simple clutch job, turned into 2 clutch jobs with incorrect flywheel bolts.
Got a whole single disk RAM clutch kit, flywheel with ARP bolts, remote bleeder all the goodies from Tick. Did install at a buddies shop and the ARP bolts contacted the clutch disk. Car had to come back apart, and shorter stock/OE bolts went into the flywheel and fit just fine.
Tried contacting Tick about this issue since all parts were bought through them, and this should have been a well known issue. Got 2 responses, one asking for pictures of the bolts, and one asking for pictures before the bolts were removed(which i didnt have). Now over a week of nothing even after follow up.
Did I actually expect them to do anything besides refund 20 bucks in ARP bolts, no, shops never do. But dropping it and never getting back to me is just far worse.
Ram for their part was good on communication and confirming things. Wish they had a phone, but they were pretty quick on email. I was finished talking with Ram before Tick even got back to me the first time.
