Default GSC-S Rotation? Luke?

I have two used Goodyear GSC-S tires which are both lefts. They have sidewall markings for rotation direction. Does this mean that they cannot be reversed, or is there just a preferred direction while the tread is showing?

From what I remember when I had them on my car they are side specific. The rotation may mainly pertain to wet weather handling so in the dry you can probably mount them on the other side of the car.

The guy who sold me the tires said that they are all left tires because there is only one GS-CS mold. So you have to pay attention to the "mount this side inwards" lettering, but ignore directional arrows. Sounds like it might be true...
