Kumho Ecsta ASX...
Anyone driving on these. I bought this car with Goodyear Eagle GS-C's all around. They have about 15000 miles on them and are noisy as hell. I think they are run flats also. Took a 500 mile trip and the wife kept getting a migraine. I am going to replace them. As a retired guy, this vet is my daily cruiser. I'm looking for a quiter more comfortable ride. The reviews I read on TireRack seem to be in favor of this tire. Any comments?

I purchased the Kumho Ecsta ASX from tirerack. Have about 500 miles on them. Best investment made so far. They are smooth riding and very quite. Buy em you'll like em!

Aren't these all-season tires? If they are, are you planning on driving your car in the snow? If not, get a good summer tire which will be suitable for dry and wet weather, tire noise - will just depend on the tire you choose, but performance will be much better than the all season tread. Good luck.

I have the ASX also and am very happy. Yes, they are an all season but I wanted a decent set of tires that would not drain the bank account. Mine were $525 shipped to my house. If I drove on the track I would get a more high performance tire.

Good tire for the money. I'm pretty sure they rate it as a "High Performance" all season tire.

I run the Kumho Supra 711 which is a little more expensive but I felt that they would be better in the rain which we get a lot of here and I drive every day.
I'm happy with them. They are quieter than the GS-C

I think that's the tires I have on mine! They are really quite and have a nice ride too! My brother had the Goodyears on his when he got it and they were really noisy! Get a set of Khumho's you will love them
