Clamp everthing together leaving room to jb weld it without gluing the clamps to it

Clamping with wood to give more room for the heavy coat. I used alot to fill in the spaces. Make sure not to get it on the surfaces the door will touch

Cut off the excess on the inside. Use the side of the cut off blade to clean up the visible surface. Then paint

Paint it to your desired color. Use a razor blade scraper to slice off the paint on your chrome
