Expect to Pay a Lot More than Sticker for a Z06

Let the bidding begin. I mean, come on, you had to know that with so many people wanting the new Z06, some dealerships were bound to push their asking prices up.

Take, for example, Rogers Auto Group in Chicago, which had a 2015 Corvette Z06 listed on eBay for $122,000; a jump of more than $40,000 over the $78,895 base price for a new Z06 coupe.

The bidding for the Rogers Z06 that has now ended was for a black-on-black 3LZ model with the Z07 performance package. Still, I think it’s a pretty good sign that finding one at that base price next year is going to be unlikely if you haven’t already got your order in.
