Looks like that bitter dispute brewing in Bowling Green, Kentucky between the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park and some surrounding neighbors will be settled in court.

I guess the sound of cars revving around a track isn’t music to everyone’s ears, even if they are the town’s beloved Corvettes.

A group known as Residents Against Motorsports Park Track Noise LLC claim that the NCM racetrack has not been operating within the guidelines of the area’s zoning ordinance. And now the matter will be resolved in Warren Circuit Court on November 1, 2016, according to a WBKO report.

The museum started receiving complaints about the racetrack back in June. Efforts to build a berm and add sound proof fencing to help the noise level has done little to ease the tensions with neighbors.

“They want the track to operate consistent with the zoning ordinance. Up until this point they have not,” said the neighbor’s attorney Chris Davenport.

We’ll certainly be following this one closely.
