OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Z06 Fever Spreads in Europe
Maybe it’s just me, but the majority of expat Corvettes I’ve seen in Europe are C6 Z06s painted Velocity Yellow. It’s like a C6 Z06 had way too much fun spreading its seed on a wild Euro trip back in ’06, and then nine months later, a bunch of other Velocity Yellow Z06s started popping up around the continent.
Maybe this Corvette of the Week was the car that started Z06 fever in Europe. This 2006 Z06 was one of the first Z06s in Europe, according to “Rene_Z06“, this ‘Vette’s owner. René bought this car two years ago. Since then, he’s added some choice upgrades:
- Forgestar CF10 wheels – 19″ front/20″ rear
- TIKT full-carbon racing seats with TIKT center console
- Halltech Super Bee ram air induction
- Corsa Cat-Back exhaust
- ZR1 rear spoiler from RPI
As if it wasn’t enough of a formidable contender in the European market in stock form, now this Frankfurt ‘Vette can show those Porsches and Audis how we get down in these United States.
