‘The Grand Tour’ Boys Flog a Grand Sport Corvette With James Corden

What happens when you take three older British men, put them into a Corvette on a racetrack, and then have another, younger British man ask them trivia questions? Well if those people are the former Top Gear trio — James May, Jeremy Clarkson, and Richard Hammond — and Late Late Show host, James Corden, you get one of the funniest pieces of late-night television this year.

To help plug their new Amazon show, The Grand Tour, Clarkson and company took part in one of James Corden’s many wild and interesting stunt segments. This particular one was dubbed “The Grand Tour Racing Quiz.” The idea is pretty simple: set a lap time in a brand new Corvette Grand Sport, but to add some spice, Corden sits in the passenger seat asking questions. Every wrong answer is a one-second time penalty.

Aside from watching James, Jeremy, and Richard hoon a Corvette, the most hilarious part is the actual questions. From simple math problems all the way to absurd questions about favorite sex positions, the comedy rolls at a nearly non-stop pace. Watching Corden try to keep composed while flying around at triple-digit speeds is just icing on the cake.

Enjoy.
