While it's apart this winter would you PLEASE PUT A CAGE IN IT! I get it, you don't want one in there cuz its a street car blah blah blah. Don't be that guy man, we'd like to keep you around for a bit longer.
With the right chassis guy doing it you won't even know its in there. Do yourself a favor man, seriously.

I was once with that train of thought, and almost against the notion of a cage.
Until I had a moment at 190+ when the car lost traction and went sideways.
I fitted a cage after that. It was just pure luck it didnt turn into a mess.
I may not agree with many so called safety rules, especially some of the daft ones in the US...but a cage can make a lot of sense. Especially given the level of performance of a car like yours.

The "its a street car, no cage" line is flawd thinking. With the right builder it can be tucked up so close to pillars and headliners you'll never know its there. Just get removable door bars. Hell, the vast majority of people that sit in my car don't even notice the parachute handler over thier head and I'm a C5 with is def smaller inside than your C6.
With the amount of cash you've poured into that C6 and the speeds you drive it its beyond me how your bilder hasn't all but made you do it. Regardless, your car....your life man.

Not meaning to gang up on you or butt my nose in and make it seem like it's an intervention or something, but I have to agree about the cage.
While I'm sure that you've put a TON of money into building your car, you're risking the thing that money CAN'T buy...your Life!
While there is no guarantee that a cage could save your life (I'll use John Lingenfelter as an example), I'd bet that the odds of it helping are better than not!
As stated above, it's your decision though.
By the way, I rewatched some of your Scare cam videos and I believe it's your Mom, but she cracks me up! I think you almost made her pass out. She looked like it took her breath away for a moment!
Thanks for sharing them!

How is the quad disk clutch around town? Also what slave did you go with that monster clutch? Killer car, love the new elbow setup. Looks like cutting the hood is in your near future.

Its a tick adjustable slave. The clutch drives like stock with a 10-20% increase in effort. My McLeod chattered more.

Very nice mike! Question, are you making a trip to Destin soon or are you moving? I live there. I'd love to see sinistter now. I'd also love to see the looks on said GTR owners faces! Haven't seen the car since the open house at vengeance last spring.

This is the most impressive build i've seen in a corvette. It is actually the fastest half mile vette.. First to 200mph 1/2.
Congratulations to SinisterC6, Ron and Mike for the success they've had with this build.

So I'm sorry to beat the dead horse but...
You run 200mph in the 1/2...with dick for safety equipement? What organization is gods name is retarded enough to let that happen? I assume you've seen the the orange UGR Galardo bite the big one running the mile a few years ago right. That dude owes his life to his chassis builder. PERIOD.
