If you are talking about the two day owner's course....no.
It can only be used by the original owner of the new car.

That blows. I was hoping for a yes answer too. My husband and I both want to attend, but $2250 for a second person is pretty steep.

I just booked to attend Dec 19 & 20. The email I received contained the followiung statement:

"The cost of the 2-day Corvette Owners School in a Grand Sport is $3695.00. Since you are a new Grand Sport owner you will get a two day school for $1,000.00 plus one free night in the condo. "

$3,250 for both you and your husband is still a reasonable cost compared to the retail price of the school. My wife will attend but she is going to attend the classes and take the ride along with an instructor rather than going the full school route (her choice).

I suspect you will enjoy whatever route you take.

Considering that a husband and wife would be rooming together, you'd think you could knock off a couple hundred for rooms.

Wife and I just came back, it was an anniversary/birthday present from her.
She paid my discounted price, and full price for herself.
One of the better shared life experiences we can both talk about together now.
Well worth the money!

That doesn't sound right. The owners' school regular price is only around $2600. I think you're thinking of the regular Level 1 or 2 class, not the owners' school.

I bellevue the full price varies between Z06, GS and Z51.

If you sign up for a base Z51, it'll be much cheaper than a GS.

Only level 1 is offered at $1000 with a new purchase.

Level 2's are higher than $1000 even with the purchase of a new Vette. You still get a discount, but not down to $1000.

I have the solution for you:

You take the driver school for the $1000. Your wife goes along as a ride along only. She will love the experience so much that when she comes back she'll demand she gets a Corvette too.

Then, she can do the level one course and you could do the ride along for free.

Problem solved.

Level 1 is not the Owners' school. It is beyond that. Owners' school is more of an intro than a Level 1.

They told me it was transferable to an immediate family member. I was considering letting my son have it, but ended up doing it myself.

That's what I was quoted when I signed up for level 2. There was a discount, but the registration was like $500 or so more for a GS and another $500 or so for Z06. Don't quote me on the exact difference...

I wouldn't think renting or tracking a Z06 would be the same price as a Z51. If that was the case, most would chose a Z06 to beat up on, as long as it's at someone else's expense.

Unless may be it's only so if you are trying to take advantage of the discount for new purchase?

$500 more for a GS is not worth it. Z51 will be very satisfying for 99%.
