2026 Corvette ZR1X Pricing Revealed along with 2026 Corvette ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition

Though its gas guzzler tax hasn’t yet been finalized, we can finally build the 2026 Corvette ZR1X of our dreams right now.

It hasn’t been too long since GM shocked the world by debuting an even more potent version of the C8 ZR1 – the 2026 Corvette ZR1X – not too long after that 1,064 horsepower range-topping model was unveiled. What most thought would be called the Zora arrived as expected, however, pairing the ZR1’s twin turbocharged LT7 V8 with a hybrid system to churn out 1,250 total horsepower, which hits the ground via all four wheels in this case. Now, the 2026 Corvette ZR1X build and price configurator is live, and we can create our own perfect version of the (new) ultimate Corvette.

As many are already well aware, the 2026 Corvette ZR1X isn’t cheap – it starts out at $207,395 for the 1LZ Coupe, $218,395 for the 3LZ Coupe, $217,395 for the 1LZ Convertible, and $228,395 for the 3LZ Convertible – while the Quail Silver Version comes exclusively in 3LZ Convertible guise with an MSRP of $241,395. However, the build and price configurator doesn’t list any of these prices – only “see dealer for pricing,” likely due to fact that GM is waiting to learn what sort of gas guzzler tax buyers will have to shell out.

The same thing happened with the ZR1, after which we learned that its gas guzzler tax came in at $3,000, just like the Z06. In the meantime, we can at least view the prices of the various options one can add to the 2026 Corvette ZR1X and likely assume that we’ll have to tack on at least that same amount, and take a gander at the small list of options available for the new hybrid supercar.

In terms of paint colors, one can choose between six no-cost hues – Arctic White, Black, Blade Silver, Hysteria Purple, Riptide Blue, and Torch Red – as well as Roswell Green ($500), Competition Yellow ($995), Sebring Orange ($995), and Red Mist ($995). There are also five wheel designs – 20-spoke Sterling Silver-painted forged aluminum being the only no-cost option, along with 20-Spoke Carbon Flash-painted forged aluminum ($1,495) 20-Spoke Edge Blue-painted forged aluminum ($1,495), 20-Spoke Bright Machined forged aluminum ($1,995), and 10-Spoke Visible Carbon Fiber ($13,995).

From there, one can add a variety of painted brake calipers for an extra $695, Jake center caps, wheel locks, along with 13 full-length racing stripe color options for an extra $1,195, no matter the color choice. Inside the cabin, there’s the standard Jet Black performance textile seating, along with a bevy of optional looks, with GT1 buckets or the optional ($995) Competition Sport bucket seats. One can pair those with several seat belt colors, each adding $495 to the tally, or a sueded microfiber-wrapped steering wheel for $695.

Finally, we have four packages to choose from – the Roadside Safety Package ($195),  Contoured Liner Protection Package ($475), ZTK Track Performance Package: ($1,500), and ZR1X Carbon Fiber Aero Package ($10,495), not to mention various other add-ons like museum delivery.

As far as how expensive one can make the 2026 Corvette ZR1X – including the assumption of a $3,000 gas guzzler tax – well, the answer is, pretty pricey. A fully-equipped Quail Silver Edition will set one back around $264,785, which is an eye-watering figure, indeed. However, we are talking about the most powerful and track-capable production Corvette ever, and in the grand scheme of things, it still has a lot of performance-per-dollar to offer.
