Stellar design and high-performance made the C7 Corvette perfect for daily driving or the quarter-mile. It remains one of Chevy’s greatest.

We have had a lot to say about the C8 Corvette. Mainly, it is awesome. And it definitely is. But we need to acknowledge that the new mid-engined ‘Vette does owe some of its great success on its predecessor: the C7 Corvette.

Produced by General Motors from 2014 to 2019, the C7 Corvettes were exceptional. To us, the C7 incorporated the best aspects from six prior generations. As a result, the C7 Corvettes were rock solid. But they were also changing the game without ever sacrificing on the true Corvette identity.

With track-inspired design and engineering, it was the consummate sports car. C7 Corvettes perform as well on a winding road as they do topping out on the straightaway.
