C7 ZR1?

According to Autoblog.com, the C7 Corvette ZR1 is already in
development. Spy photos shot by KGP photography caught a pair of C7 Corvette
Stingrays leaving the GM test center along with European sports cars; namely,
the Audi R8 V10, Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren MP4-12c and Porsche 911 Carrera S.
All the cars were last seen headed down the same twisty back-roads used to
refine the C7 with the goal of benchmarking the Stingray ZR1.

The Corvette has always represented amazing value, but it’s
always been a compromise: yeah, it goes like hell but the interior seems a bit
cheap, blah, blah, blah? This is obviously all speculation and conjecture, but
it does bode well for ZR1 fans. If Chevy really is benchmarking the ZR1 against
Europe’s best we could finally get a Corvette that competes on all levels, without
any compromises.
