Corvette Funfest 2017 is open for registration, and you’d better get your Corvette signed up today.

If you’ve ever considered attending Mid America Motorworks’ Corvette Funfest, this is the year to make that happenFrom September 14-17 at Mid America Motorworks’ corporate campus in Effingham, Illinois, the festival will be paying homage to the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. Rumor has it that a few of the extra-rare L88 cars will be in attendance, too.

With special Corvette displays, vendor booths, seminars with industry experts, eighth-mile drag races, touring drives, a burger-eating competition, and some awesome classic rock tunes played live from the main stage, this event is sure to be a killer hit among Corvette fans of every generation. More than that, though, you get to spend four days among your own Corvette-loving tribe, with plenty of opportunities to swap stories, bench race, and make new friends.

CHECK OUT: What Folks are Bringing to Corvette Funfest

We’re most interested in hearing first-hand accounts from titans of the Corvette industry. The “Funfest Expert Panel” will welcome Dave Heinemann from the National Council of Corvette Clubs; Billy Brooks from the International Council of Corvette Clubs; Armetta Jones from the United Council of Corvette Clubs; Duff Parson and Royce Martin from the Ohio Corvette Club Alliance; Dave Kaiser from the Northwest Association of Corvette Clubs, and many more. It’s fair to say that a group of people with this level of involvement in Corvette enthusiasm will have a lot of excellent tales to tell.

Thursday night will kick things off with a bang when you participate in the “Fun Run Road Tour” that will see covered bridges, gorgeous twisty roads, woodlands, and a parade through downtown Greenup, Illinois. Friday night you’ll have a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas during the casino-themed charity night to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Saturday night is the big fun as the “World Classic Rockers” band will be playing on the main stage. The band consists of former members of Journey, Santana, Kansas, Steppenwolf, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, playing all the classic hits you know and love.
