“Eyebrows” on a C7 Corvette: Yea or Nay?
A bit of controversy has erupted on Corvette Forum over a simple visual mod: headlight eyebrows. There’s a few different versions of the mod, with (above) and without (below) those two little inserts on the far inside of the headlight.
So after looking at both of them, what do you say? Our members have been quite vocal in their opposition against them, but I actually think the bottom picture makes the front end profile look sleeker. Granted the top picture looks like it was tacked on, the seams are a bit big, and it doesn’t really match the car’s curves very well (sorry, vettebford). I suppose you get what you pay for.
Visual modifications are one of those endlessly debatable subjects, with no clear “right” or “wrong” answer. As such, any opinions must be met with thick skin and taken for surface value. Regardless, I don’t think anyone should withhold an opinion, especially if the post contains the magic words “what do you think?”
Since the majority think these eyebrows aren’t really to their liking, I’m interested in other modifications that make your eyes roll. Black, and chrome wheels? Blacked-out headlights and tail lights? Excessive use of chrome? Painting the entire engine bay? Let us know!
