Hertz+ Corvette Z06 Giveaway

Giveaway is part of Hertz’s 100th anniversary celebration and one of 100 Z06s specially ordered by the rental company.

Renting a car usually means renting some fleet special for a weekend road trip, or because your Corvette is in the shop. Hertz is one of the few companies to go against the norm of boring rental cars, of course. In the 1960s, the company collaborated with Carroll Shelby and Hurst on their first “rent-a-racer”: the Shelby GT-H. Today, you can rent some of the coolest cars from Hertz’s “Adrenaline Collection,” including the Camaro SS and the Corvette Stingray.

Speaking of Corvettes, Hertz recently unveiled a special Z06 available to rent as part of the company’s 100th anniversary. In celebration of their newly-launched service, Hertz+, which gives customers access to more than 130,000 curated and unique experiences globally, including exclusive events, travel opportunities, and more. Auto Rental News reports Hertz will give away one of those Z06s.

Already available at select locations around the United States, the Hertz 100th Anniversary Edition Corvette Z06 still has the 650-horsepower, 650 lb-ft of torque, supercharged 6.2-liter V8, plus the eight-speed automatic so you can focus on the road ahead. On the outside, the Z06 wears a yellow tintcoat with a pair of black stripes from stem to stern, in keeping with Hertz’s corporate color palette. The wheels are 19- and 20-inch units painted in black, while the brake calipers are in yellow.

The theme continues on the inside of the Z06 with black Corvette Competition Sport seats with yellow stitching, custom Hertz badging, and a plaque denoting the model number of any given 100th Anniversary Z06.

To have a shot at taking home one of the 100 Z06s, all you need to do is rent a car from Hertz or book one of 130,000 curated experiences from Hertz+ between now and December 14th. And while making pasta in Italy or going on a guided sunset hike in the Rockies sounds pretty fun, there would be nothing more fun than to have one of these special Z06s in your garage, ready to carve its way through the winding roads near you.
