NCM Taking Over Public Corvette Plant Tours

Corvette Plant

The next time you visit the Corvette assembly plant in Kentucky, you might notice a few changes, all for the better, of course.

The National Corvette Museum will be taking over the public tours at the Bowling Green plant to allow the plant to focus on what it does best: building one of the best sports cars in the world.

The move makes perfectly good sense to us here at Corvette Forum. And apparently, the plan has been in the works since last fall, as highlighted in a Bowling Green Daily News report.

NCM already leads a number of tour programs in the plant, including R8C Museum Delivery, Experience, VIP Tours, Photo Albums, and Buyers’ Tours.

“They’re in the business to make cars. They’re not in the hospitality business like we are,” said museum marketing and communications manager Katie Frassinelli. “They saw we do a good job and provide good customer service.”

Seems like a win/win, don’t you think?
