OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: More Like Corvette of the Year
It’s a wrap for the 2014 production run at Bowling Green; therefore, it’s time to reflect on the C7’s introductory year. As we learned yesterday, the most popular color for the 2014 Corvette was Torch Red. Also, 56 percent of C7s sold in their first year had the magic Z51 dust sprinkled all over.
Take a look at this Torch Red Z51 Corvette Stingray, and you’re basically looking at the car that represents the C7’s first model year; hence my coronation of it as Corvette of the Year. My formal investiture extends to all owners of 2014 Torch Red Z51 Corvettes.
