Although, we typically try to steer clear of politics, I certainly think a rally for this candidate is well worth sharing here at Corvette Forum.

A Corvette enthusiast by the name of Darwin Ludi is leading a campaign to have former General Motors designer Peter Brock inducted into the National Corvette Museum’s Hall of Fame, according to UTSandiego.com.

For those who don’t know, Peter Brock worked with GM’s design head Bill Mitchell on the development of the 1959 Stingray racer, which later evolved into the legendary 1963 Sting Ray, which he discusses in the video below. Brock is also an award-winning author who wrote the book, “Corvette Sting Ray, Genesis of an American Icon.”

Now, I’m certainly not the best person to dole out analysis on who’s the best candidate for curing the ills of America, but supporting Peter Brock’s induction into the National Corvette Museum seems like a no-brainer to me.

To make it easy to support the cause, Ludi can email you a form letter that can be printed, signed, and mailed to him at 953 Paseo La Cresta, Chula Vista, California. Just email him at pdludi@gmail.com to get the form. Heck, if Jay Leno (who interviewed Brock in 2013) can do it, than so can you, right?

The deadline for the nomination of 2016 inductees is June 30.

Chime in with your thoughts on the forum. >>
