instead of purchasing a \”strut rod knocker\” tool and having to wait
for delivery,i have found that if you simply buy another nut that threads
on the rod end and about a 1 1/2 inch bolt(length) of the same
diameter,one can achieve the same results.
simply,put your new nut
1/2 way on the rod and thread the new bolt in,snug it down. apply liberal
amounts of penetrating oil and pound with a good size hammer. i\’ve used
this \”tool\” several times and the cost was $1.60.
