So the forum has been sold....

purchases, such as cars, real estate, mortgages, and travel. We empower consumers to make better
choices and save money. Our sites deliver superior content and consumer insight.
Internet Brands' sites have received dozens of "best-in-class" awards. With flexible publishing and e-commerce
platforms, we are selectively expanding into additional, high-value consumer markets.

Basically, Corvetteforum has grown to a point where I really needed dedicated technicians, an accountant, an office manager and someone to handle sales. Unfortunately it is too small to afford all of those things on it's own. With this acquisition all of those functions can be shared across multiple sites. I expect the experience for members and supporting vendors to improve quite a bit.
I have been approached several times about selling Corvetteforum. Internet Brands is the first company that I felt really understood online communities. That is important because it means they won't screw things up by disturbing the way things are done.

As for the supporting member program...........it will only expand...........details to follw later I am sure
I am one so it a good question The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I wouldn't give a crap except it was my work address and I only ended up using that because at least two previous attempts to sign up using generic e-mail services that I typically use for such things were ignored.
Those who acquire ALWAYS promise "Business as usual", but almost always have their own plans on how to f'k up a good thing.....believe me, SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE in Internet Brands has ideas on how to change the forum, and once the dust settles, the nit-picking will begin.
I hope I'm wrong, but can anybody honestly say that any company they have been a part of, which was "Acquired" by another, was EVER left alone?
Maybe I'm too cynical, but I smell disaster....What the forum is is a freak of nature, this all happened by accident, and can most likely never be created intentionally, these guys won't be able to resist sticking their fingers in the works, just watch.
Again, I HOPE I'm wrong, cause you don't come by a thing like the Corvette forum every day, it would be a shame if it were killed by someone who couldn't leave it alone.

I'm not sure what the future holds for the program. It may be that the benefits are expanded to make it even more worthwhile.

The world changes daily . We may have some changes here but the greatest asset that CF and CFOT are it people. It is a community that works. If the new owners screw it up then we will find another way to continue this community.

This site is great the way it is. I hope they don't come in here and try to change stuff.
