Wonder what will happen to OT....already put a thread up in the new area for the discussion about it...

I forsee the spammers taking over a lot of the mods time... =\ Unless the buyout brings new technology to block them....

LS1Tech was also picked up, along with PerformanceTrucks.net, ModMotorTech.com, and ModernHemi.com.

Ford-Trucks.com, Audiworld.com, and MustangForum.com were already owned by Internet Brands...

I have no doubt it will become more 'commercial'. There is no other reason for them to purchase it.

Will be interesting to see if that program continues. It's one thing to support the Forum when it was privately owned and to receive some benefits from that. But with a corporation involved and having their own funds, the rules could change.

I have a feeling once they really get their hands on these sites will all go down quickly.

I also forsee in about 1-2 years America's productivity will skyrocket when we all get tired of the BS they put here and we decide to actually work

Yeah this means I will have to clean out my inbox I don't see myself renewing. It depends, frankly the only reason I did it was because I knew the forum was privately owned. To that end Good on troy for making an announcement instead of selling quietly and running.

As with anything there will be some fear involved of something "new" I hope it ends up OK.

If they clamp down on the fun stuff even more it will drive more people away. Hopefully they realize that.
