Default M7 popping out of gear

Original discussion is here.

Fastmikefree asked:
Many of M7 owners are reporting their gearbox popping out of gear at any speed which can potentially be a safety issue!

Has that been corrected or under investigation? Is the rubber band that some pictures of shifter are showing for anything in that problem?

Default Galvanic Corrosion Prevention on the C7

Original discussion is here.

KevinSun asked:
What have you done to prevent galvanic corrosion of the aluminum frame on the C7?

Are there any brass or steel bolts or fasters owners should pay attention to?

Default Eccentric Bolts vs Camber Plates

Original discussion is here.

jvp asked:
Has your team considered replacing the Corvette LCA eccentric bolts with camber plates, and handling camber and caster with shims on the UCA? It might make alignments take a bit longer the first time, but they'd hold more solidly for those of us that like to track our cars.

Default Corvettes and Custom Color

Original discussion is here.

RideZX6R asked:
Since the Viper folks are now offering this, and BMW (as well as Porsche) have offered options for individual buyer-specified colors on cars for some time... When will GM offer this for the Corvette? I feel like a car this special should have had this offered already. It also seems obvious to me that people are willing to pay for it and it would be a money-maker for GM.

Default Separate Out the PDR Data from the Video

Original discussion is here.

Jedi-Jurist asked:
Can you please update the Cosworth and/or PDR software to allow us to separate out the data overlay? I use more than one camera on track (including the PDR) and would love to overlay the data on ALL my cameras, not just the PDR.

What does it take to get an A8 overheating question?

Simply- "Is the "A8 overheating on track" a dead issue, or, are there ongoing research and tests to help with this cooling issue."

AS the former owner of 5 NEW Corvettes 1964,1985, 1992, 1996, 1999 and a C7, due to be built week of 6-8 15 , I find this unbelievable to have a lottery to select a single important question to be answered.
Why not answer all questions important to the people who there hard earned $ on the product ?

I'd guess that the reason is the guy has a job and can't spend all his time answering EVERY question some forum nut jobs think up.

As the other poster suggested: it's an issue with time. Think of this almost like a live Q&A with other online sites. Tadge doesn't answer all of the questions people submit because the session would likely have to run for 8-10 hours. The same thing applies here. He's been gracious enough to offer us 1 question every 2 weeks, and it's our job to figure out which question that is. He doesn't really have the time to do more than that as he is (and the rest of this team are) too busy designing Corvettes.

We want him to keep doing his day job.
