Default Finally made up my mind!

After months of reading posts I've finally decided. I'm not ready to throw away the system, although I know I probably will someday. In the meantime I do want to improve the bass by adding a sub.

What to add? I've pondered this for months and have finally decided to go with the Bazooka BTA10200 10" 200watt. I'm not willing to sacifice the trunk space necessary for any standard sub and the people here who own these self contained subs say their a good alternative.

I know in the long run I'll end up spending more money by going this route but I'm not ready to decide on a replacement for the whole system.

Along with the Bazooka I puchased a amp wiring kit and a PAC AOEM-VET1 interface. Do I have everything I need? I hope I can figure out where the interface connects to the HU. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Part of why I bought the Vette was to work on it and even though I'm over my head, here I go!

Thanks,

I'm most anxious about the interface hookup. I think I read a post that talked about hooking it up on the drivers side above the gas pedal but I'm not sure.
Anyone know exactly how/where this interface connects?

I'm getting the BTA 10200 also. Do you need the interface for the bazooka? I thought you could hook the bazooka directly to the HU. Where did you get yours? Thanks!

Mike,

I understand that you have to use a line level adapter (PAC OEM-Vet1) because there's no RCA output jack on our Bose system.

You can get one at www.logjam.com for about $60.

My big concern is that the tread which showed where it attachs is no longer available. I know it's somewhere on the drivers side above the gas pedal. I'm hoping someone will chime in a show us where and how to attach it
