Replacement amp For Bose??

Replacement amp For Bose??
I read somewhere that these rockbox m-103A power amps @ $20.99 could be used to replace the stock Bose amps. Has anyone here heard of this? I'm interested if they will fit in the same space, and, if this is a possible way to go. Thanks link to amp

If you're going thru the effort to wire one of those in, you might as well get a real amp. Ive seen people use these before, so I guess they work ok. Have ya looked on ebay for a direct replacement? There is usually someone who has gutted their C4 and is practically giving a pair of them away. I have a pair of them with the bose speakers/enclosures
if you are really interested. The speakers work fine, as you can see below. I have no idea if the amps work, they probably do, if you are serious about it, i'll test them and provide pics of doing so.

Thats what I thought Snoopdan, The ones in the back of my 87 vert are flaking out and I thought that maybe I should look at replacing the amps. If you would like to part with your amps I would be interested. Let me know your address and how much to send. I love the picture of your copilot! It always makes me smile when I see it on the forum. i mean you can have them. lolBut let me test them first before I send them out. You just need the amps right? both of them? shoot me a PM then.

Message sent Snoopdan, thank you very much! Agent 86, thank you for your efforts and the links. I'm still in AWE of your engine compartment, and it is now my screen saver to motivate me! I want to do a lot of detailing to my 87 and get little things like my speakers sorted out. Regards
