Problem with AVIC N1 Help

Before I drive a 150 miles to the dealer anyone out there Help me. My Avic is giving me an insert the proper disc message. It won't accept version 1.1 or 1.2. Any suggestions? I have tried the reset button.

That is strange. I am assuming the disc your are trying to use is the nav disc? Have you checked Pioneer's web site for a troubleshooting guide?
