Thinking about these components for basic upgrade...
This isn't for my Corvette, btw, just a SUV.
Alpine CDA-9855 (maybe the CDA-9853, but I'm leaning more towards the 9855)
Alpine SPS-171A component speakers for front doors and dash tweeters
Alpine SPS-170A 2-way speakers for rear doors
Terk XMD1000 and XMDALP100 for XM connectivity
I hadn't planned on even looking at Alpine speakers, but that set sounded the best of the batch I looked at, until I was looking at sets that were over $500/pair.
Not going to bother with a subwoofer, amp, or iPod hookup for now.
Comments, suggestions?

At least an amp for the components, might as well go all coax if you are not giving the components the power.
