First of all I know nothing about radios, I want one that pops out with the dvd etc. I was looking at a Jensen at Circut City. The salesmen at the store says that I can not do this because of the bose system in my 02 vette, he said because Bose has an amp in each speaker it would not work. I would have to replace all the speakers on the car to put this radio in. Is this the case? Thanks for the help in advance.

There is a bose integration adapter that can be used... they should know this, I work at a circuit city and we do quite a few vettes with the adapter. That jensen unit is garbage I really cant recommend it to you we have so many come back with problems, if you get it buy the 4 yr plan you will need it i guarantee you. Ill be honest man some circuit citys have crappy installers... like look in there install bay if they do quality work they should have some pictures on walls of like nicer cars and work they have had done. What you need is the Soundgate GMCRV1 adaptor.

I have the Pioneer AVIC system and I use the stock Bose speakers. The latest version is the AVIC N2.

Pioneer, Alpine, etc will prly work well. I'd hate to see a nice car like a C5 with the jensen though

check out the c5 audioi faq. it will answer all your questions and you can make the curcuit city guy sound like a fool next time you talk to him

hey now we aren't all fools haha i must admit though most circuit city guys are fools though I just fortunately know my stuff pretty well... especially vettes

Before I started at my store they wouldn't touch C4's bose or not. Its scarey that these guys get jobs cause these cars arent exactly complicated
