Radio Problems
I had a strange thing happen to my '85 Corvette radio the other day. After replacing the alternator, the shop removed the battery to recharge it. After reinstalling the battery, all the presets on my radio were erased, which is normal. However, what isn't normal is the fact that the radio now will not stop - in either scan or seek mode - exactly on a station location. It stops at .2 over the location, i.e., 96.1 stops on 96.3, 104.1 stops on 104.3, etc. And, of course, there isn't a dial **** so that I can manually set stations.
Has anyone else experienced this with their radio? Anybody got a clue how to fix it? Anybody got any suggestions? Am I going to have to replace the radio?

Just had my stereo radio/cassette fixed. Couldn't find anyone locally so gave this place a call and sent it to them. Was back in about a week.
