It worked!
I am sure most of you fellows are going to laugh at what you read,but here goes,I installed a Roady 2 in my 99 and the reception was terrible.Static,lost reception when I went under an overpass.Don't even think about a tunnel.Well,I had the home kit and I replaced the small auto antenna for the home antenna and wow,no more losing the signal,no more static.I thought I would share this small bit of info with the forum "brothers" that may have the home kit laying around not being used.I installed the antenna in the large middle compartment where the spare tire would normally be.When it comes to doing anything to do with electronics,I am the worlds best candidate for clutz of the year.
