Alright, last piece of equiupment is comin in today and i'm gonna start ripping the interior out when i get home from work and get it ready for the edead v3 stuff. I will try and take pictures as i go along. Hope this doesnt take more than a few days.
Sweet man G'luck. I will be doing something very similar in the coming days although my wires were delayed a day from UPS and I am kind of bitter about it Looks like I will be doing the disassembly and what wiring I can do on Tues/Wed
Just applied one coat of edead v3 in the passenger/driver side and tunnel. Gotta run and mingle with some of the gf's people. then onto the trunk. Its not as messy as you think it would be. But hard none the less. My back is already hurting. its nice cause you can kinda apply this stuff anywhere. Its really easy to get carried away. I always want to apply a super thick coat, but then remember not to and spread it a bit thinner. It was easier to take the car apart and clean it then to do this stuff. Now I remember why I stopped installing stereos for other people. Anyway, i am taking pictures, and will keep you guys posted. Will report back after i get the trunk done.
ok just finished the trunk area. By far the trunk is hard....really hard....the hard thing about it is there are just weird angles to get at. My advice to anyone who is going to do the liquid stuff, is to start where the rear speakers are. cause if you do the pass/driver first, you cant get to it, and then you end up either waiting for the front to dry, or like me, crawl in through the trunk and stick my head through, yea not the most comfortable thing to do for a 6 ft guy. Doin the trunk the way i did, got messy quick. The stuff is all over me. Now in the morning when all this drys, i know to do the mid rear first, where the rear speakers are.
Now while ive got everything apart, ive got a question. Should i keep my rear speakers?, remember these are the stock Bose and everything else is going to be stock except for the amp and sub that i will be adding. I hear everyone talkin about not needing the rears, but is this true when you have a stock setup for the most part? Thanks for all the help so far guys, without you, i wouldnt have ventured this far.

Fej
i feel ya, except FedEx didnt deliver my amp on time. They couldnt find my address. Kind of hard to believe when they have been to my house a bunch of times....
I'll try to get some pics up in the morn after i touch up a few spots that i couldnt do at the moment bc of wiring
ok some more notes. I used 1 gallon to do the first coat so far. still waiting on the stuff to fully dry. If you are goin to do this, wait for slightly warmer weather than whats in chicago right now. I couldnt wait to get my stuff in, so i did it now and am using a propane heater. hmmm what else...any questions so far guy?
its actually not too bad once you get the system down as to what part of the car you do first and so on. It was a pain the first coat cause i just went front to back the secret is to start at the rear speakers and go out from there. a career hmmm, i wonder if it would pay more then what i do now. Chances are proabably yes
Looks sweet man good job Have you tackled the doors at all yet? I will be doing some of the front floor boards and the door skins especially with the same stuff you are using. (edesigns v3) What was your dry time like? And what temperature? Trying to figure out how long this will all take me I have already done the back half of the car with Dynamat extreme in conjunction with Crazy cowboys kit so I don't plan on too much more of the liquid back there. Hopefully it is good enough for what I will be running because I don't want to rip up 1/2 days work heh.
If you have done some of the doors could you throw some pics up please?
Pics look awesome man, let us all know how much quieter it is when you are done... glad the edead is working out. FYI I assume you all know there is an edead corvette forum discount

NOOO I was unaware about this discount. How much of a discount is there?
Sorry, not doin the doors this time. I will do the doors when I decide to do the components next year. When i talked to the eDead guys they said for it to be at least 50 degrees. My drying time went slow at first because all i had was the propane heater, once i threw some fans in there to get the air moving inside the car. Drying time went down to 2-3 hrs. The first coat will take the longest bc you dont know what your doing yet. This second coat should go smoother. Ok, off to the 2nd coat. Maybe I should just do the doors too? Not sure yet. Ive got 3 gallons of this stuff. enough to do 3 coats on the car. Or 2 coats on the car and 2 in the doors....hmmm
