installing monoblock amp in c5...
okay i have been told different things at local shops here in SA, but i need to know the truth!
I wanna get a monoblock amp installed in the rear deck to power a 12" subwoofer and i got the factory bose/amplified system. I already got a RF modulator ( i think its what its called) from my previous car, and i was told by "store A" that they can use this same thing to get the rca signal off the rear speakers and it will be no biggie to do the install.
now 'store B' said that i would need some other adapter for the bose system to go to an aftermarket amp.
went back to 'store A' and they said that i wouldn't need that "bose adapter" since i was gonna be running a monoblock amp and i would only need it iif i was running like a 4 channel amp to mids/highs.
i wanna get this done right... and now im confused on what i really need!
basically.. i wanna keept the factory sound how it is...just wanna add a subwoofer!
please help!!

FAIK you WILL need the bose adaptor to get the signal from the blose headunit to the aftermarket amp. FM modulators have nothing to do with sending a source signal to an amp .. store A is on crack.
