I had the c-320, which is the same front end. Very easy to use, best of the touchscreen units I looked at then. The 320 uses an SD card, which worked for me as I only really needed 3-4 states. The SD card is also slightly faster than the 330/340 HD models, but you do have to manually load maps.
I gave that one to my son because I picked up the Nuvi at CES for a steal. It has the same basic maps but has more extra features. Ive used Navan, TomTom, Magellan, but I think the Garmins are the best/easiest/most accurate.

I picked up a Garman Nuvi for my girlfriend because she does alot of travelling for work. I've used it a few times as well and I find it to be very simple to use, good maps, and accurate. The battery life is great too, the 4 hours they claim is no joke. The real bonus with that unit is that you can slip it into your shirt or coat pocket when you get out of the car.
