Yeah that would be real cool. But ive been told I can only use 3/4 on that box. And if I was to use 2- 3/4in of plexi it would throw off my mesurments. I only have 11 inches and its a tight fit. But I like that idea.

I'd do the sides with black (thin) carpeting. Plexiglass for the top sounds great .... then, drill a hole somewher in the rearmost wall of the box and run a small, dim, red light into it that goes on when you open the trunk lid.

plexi is pretty thin. you can use 1/8" and i find it hard to believe that you could hear the difference. this isn't meant for the top cover of the box, i was suggesting mounting it halfway down in the middle of the box. to make it clearer. imagine taking your box and filling it halfway with water...where the water line is would be where you would mount the side lit plexi. maybe if i get some free time i'll model it up for you and post a picture.

scott heres another question for you. Say I do use 2 layers of plexi. Say white and red. wouldnt that make my box inside light up pink? Ill see if I can draw you a pic of what im thinking. Not sure if I can even do it. Im going to go buy some thin plexi tomorrow and try some etching.
