Basic question, thanks to all that respond!
The 2 amps I have are 3 channel amps, but really I am running one 4 channel and one 5 channel due to the passive outputs (rear fills).
Model 603x = 2 x 75W (4 ohm) + 1x 300 W (2 ohm) (not using this one channel)
Model x3100 = 2 x 60W (4 ohm) + 1x 360 W (2ohm for sub)
in addition, each amp has passive outputs so another 2 channels per sub that will run 2 x 75W and 2 x 60W for each amp. They have multiple gain input control, output gain control, Mono out, Bridged out (if needed) etc. Very nice amplifiers, allow for optimum tuning.
I am running 3 speakers on each door(5.25, 6.5 comp), 2 mid rears(5.25 comps), 2 rear (6x9) and one 10" Soundstream SPL. a total of 13 speakers.
Sounds pretty good I am happy, plus I painted the Stainless steel covers of the amps torch red to match.

ie....GREEK!... lol Sorry I just don't understand the bridging/ohms/channels as I'm just starting to learn about all of this. Seems the more I look into it, the more confused I get. In my day (I'm 48) we just hooked a small amp to our cassette decks and didn't seem to worry about impedences/bridging/crossovers, etc ..lol
I guess I'm just looking for a specific amp to power my door components and a 10" subwoofer, maybe one that'll fit under the passenger seat. Once it's installed, I won't think twice about it!
Thanks again everybody!

i actually am a bit confused by your post too litnrod. I have to get my algebra book out to follow you
basically; gottinelli, give us a list of what you've decided on and well worry bridging/ohms/channels. It's really not that hard when you understand it all, but it's a lot to take in at first.

Thanks again Scott_FX...I'm sure to be posting again with my choices and will surely owe ya alot for yer help!!!
A good installer can balance the entire system very easily. These amps are quite unique in their abilities.
Just to be repetitive, go to a stereo shop that has good reviews and been there awhile. Not a fly by night kind of shop.
