Your Dream System!
I have been thinking about this... if I had the cash, what would I build?
Well... Considering I haven't really researched this as far as I would like, and felt like starting the thread, this is what I have come up with so far.
Head Unit - Alpine F#1 audiophile with DAC and signal processor
Amp, front stage - Butler True Blue - 150watts per side.
Front drivers - CDT 3 way
Amp, sub - JL Audio 1000/1
Sub - JL Audio 13W7v2
Discuss.

had a butler tube driver and it induced noise into my system. swapped it out with a DEI amp did not change anything same wiring and the noise was gone...not going with one of them again...would much rather want something like Brax and as for the rest of the system,

interesting. I had an old Tube Driver, and it was solid as a rock.
There was a period there, where tube hybrids were being made and sold but they were not of the Butler Design, even tho the name was the same.
This is when PPI owned the rights. about 6 years ago.

Pretty much got the system I was looking for. Only change I would make if money were no option would be to implement a set of B&W silver signature series components into the front stage. Don't see that happening anytime soon.

Man, dream system. Way too much cash to think about.
Random thoughts would be:
Alpine f1 HU and Processing
Focal Be 3 way seperates. Umm forget the model but the 7" midbass one.
Genesis Series 3 Dual mono amps to run the entire system (4 in total)
Random odds and ends like custom built skins for the doors, enclosures for the midbass, perfectly aimed of course for the driver, as lets be honest we are the one that matters A 200 amp alternator, dual batteries, lots of deadening, decoupling etc etc.
Hmmm sub choices, well most likely something from Focal, I think they make some stupid 12" sub for like $2k or something. Ah well money is no object. Hell the tuning alone for that would take weeks
I need to hit the lottery or something ..
What is sad is after all of that work and $$$ spent, a $10k home system would own it in every way ...

hmm dont know that much about current products. i'd still stick with the car pc though, some braxx tube amps. three 8" subs (always loved the 3x8) dont' know about the door speakers, maybe the ever so popular focals or some horns (if they could fit) and i'd want it all to look oem

I love the Alpine F#1 Status setup, and Genesis amps as well!! Speakers... I am super critical, so something that would handle the power I will give it for the cleanest amount of headroom, and durability to withstand all the critical listening time I will give them... those are the major factors along with great sound quality, of course...
