Its the bar right under the AVN unit and above the AC controls. I'll take a pic later today when I get home so you can see the "shaved" part close up

Thank you for the help, I will be tackling the job the weekend after next, Im waiting for a new dash to work on from Fred Beans, wanna have a backup ;-) Not sure if I'll buy the belt sander, I may use a Dramil tool or "chain saw"!
