I was thinking JL Audio specs on the 18W6 was 1.75 cubes. No more and no less cubes I know you like to do your own thing but trust me on this. I've had two of them in my Talon and I currently have two in my home theater set-up. All were/are in 1.75 cubes. They do not need extra cubes to go lower in Hz, they will give you all the low bass you body can handle. The two subs in my Talon would hurt my jaw and vibrate my eye ***** to were the road signs would be blurry 
Every woman I gave a ride in the Talon had at least one orgasm

Did ya ever consider doing the 18s in an isobarik configuation? That would be insane
Then you would only need a .875 cube enclosure 
and the huge magnet of one sub would be seen
