I was told that there is a green/white VSS wire on one of the C5radio plugs if the radio has speed compensated volume. Seems to make sense. Can somebody verify this and tell me what the location is. From what I've read here, most folks pick this feed up from either the PCM under the battery or from the instument cluster. I checked the plug pinouts here on the forum and couldn't find it.
This is the guy (ironhead) that told me about the wire on the radio harness. He was told by someone that the wire is available on one of the plugs in back of the speed compensated Bose. Just trying to confirm that, since nobody else seems to use it and that would seem to be the easiest place to get to it.
To get to the VSS wire on the IP cluster plug, does the cluster have to be pulled, or can the plug be reached from underneath?
