Getting a multi-disc changer to work through head unit
I had to have a cd player in my 85 w/ Bose. At first I didn't want to change a bunch of stuff so I bought a Pioneer FM modulated changer. It works great if I sit in one place all the time but on a trip I kept getting radio stations interfering. So, I also bought a Pioneer Premier head unit along with an interface and all mounting equipment. I then asked Pioneer if I could use the changer direct without the FM modulation and they instructed me to get an IP-Bus cable. I've got the head unit working great now but I can't figure out how to get the multi-disc changer to play through the head. The changer has power and works, the head works great and the IP-Bus cable is hooked up. What can be the problem?
