Question guys, I am looking for a bulkhead connector, male/female for a mini audio jack. I cannot seem to find one and I have been looking. I would even settle for a female/female connector as I can make that work as well. Trying to get my "custom" crossover/bass ****/ipod mount finished up.

Mini audio?? like 1/8" stereo? Have you tried Digikey or Newark or even MCM?
why are you using the mini jack? you'll get better audio from the ipod dock connector and line out jack. thats the method everyone over at the head-fi forum connects ipods to a headphone amp.
I am just looking to connect the aux out on my eclipse 8053 and use that as an IPOD in ... my fabricator buddy (pics coming soon) is going to make me a little ipod holder for my car and I want to use a bulkhead connector to keep it clean. Hell I don't even have my ipod yet I do know that I won't use it that often as the sound quality just flat is not that good but will be easier to throw some playlists together and just let it roll. If you have some suggestions for connection from the ipod that results in a mini jack male I am listening.
And you'd need a M-M on the other end, or an iPod dock to 3.5mm M connector.
As far as the audio quality goes... iTunes and Windows Media Player are both now supporting a lossless codec. An 80GB iPod with my whole collection ripped lossless at my fingertips in the car is a very tempting proposition.
Hmm ...flac files? A lossless codec might change my ipod choice. I had plans to throw a portion of songs on an 8gig nano for car/gym/golf use. But an 80gig could be interesting. Have 30gigs in my main machine all mainly 256/320kbs now. Going to have to look into that. Thanks

It's not the FLAC codec, but it's lossless AAC/M4A whatever it is they're using at this point. It may very well be lossless MPEG4 audio as I believe that's what Apple has standardized on, but I'm not an iPod guy so I'm not certain.
hey fej. i can put you in contact with someone that makes custom audiophile grade interconnects (one of the guys' from diymobileaudio's friends). he gets all the wire and connectors at cost and charges little for his labor. let me know.
