Also, If I understand correctly, when you pulled the changer, you pulled the wirign for it as well? up to the pass footwell? Or is the cd changer cable still there in the trunk area?
I cut the wire and left it all in place. As for the right parts? I have the harness I need coming, should be here within the next couple of days. I will let everything know what comes of all of this.

Well, here is the update, I bought the cable above from cardomain.com for $9.95 and installed it tonight. It worked perfectly and now I have a big on face! It is clear as a bell and I can function the ipod through my headunit, so all is good.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks to all that have helped out.

Any pics or install details? My cable is due tomorrow. Sounds like it would have been cheaper and faster from cardomain.com.

guys go check out the USA Spec PA11-Vette adapter for the Corvette. it hooks into the rear trunk area where the 6-disc cd changer would go. You have to have XM radio or buy an optional cord if you don't. Either way no subscription to XM is required. Its a direct digital connection.

I just bought one today after reading a few others that use it or the gm approved "iConnect" which is another unit that works the same, but is installed by dealers only. They are both the same device.

Install was very easy. Hardest part was getting things torn apart and even that was pretty easy. I am sorry I really don't have any other pictures. The pictures I submitted at the beginning of this thread really show the just of it, but once you get the cord installed it is all about tucking things away. Just make sure you keep checking it when you reinstall everything to be sure nothing came loose, i.e. antenna.

If you have questions, just pm me or post here, I will check for any questions periodically.
