new head unit questions
Well, I have decided to change the HU on my 06 coupe. I want to go with a 2 din setup. It seem that most of you are using Pioneer / nav. I'm not going to use nav. I'm using it mostly for Sirrius and Ipod. I've been looking at Alpine IVA-W200 and Clarion MAX675Vd. Has anyone here used either of these units and does anyone know about there quality and performance, or is this over kill for the application?

I know that pentavolvo here is very happy with the current offerings from Kenwood and I'm pretty sure they have a non-NAV double DIN offering as well.

I have the Alpine IVA-W200 in my daily driver tacoma. It works great, with decent ipod control speed. You can also add a nav to it later on if you wish. The PAC TR7 module is also available to allow more detailed unit adjustment without the parking brake on. Dont know about the Clarion, but I really like the Alpine Unit. I went with the Kenwood DNX7100 in my ZO6 as it was alot less expensive than the alpine with Nav added on. Either HU will work fine.
